Trivia[]

The item is a reference to unsafe abortion practices, ^[1] where a wire coat hanger is used to break amniotic sac inside the womb in order to abort the fetus.
The item may also reference the movie "Mommie Dearest" (1981). The film features a scene in which Joan Crawford (played by Faye Dunaway), a psychotic and abusive mother, attacks her child for organizing her closet with wire hangers.
