The way that Devil Beggers and Blood Donation Machines work is that they first take eternal hearts if you have it, then they will take normal red hearts. They will completely ignore soul hearts until you have used up all of your normal hearts. [ ಠ_ಠ] 04:04, June 21, 2012 (UTC)
I'm sorry, I'm not good with wikis. I just wanted to mention something... On account on this wiki entry I tried to feed hearts to a devil beggar. Despite the page stating that normal hearts are taken last they were taken from me instantly, despite being very well equipped with soul hearts. This happened in the womb, so it might be because of increased damage or another high-level specific condition.
