Although C.H.A.D.'s relevance to Super Meat Boy is apparent, what isn't mentioned here is that the name is likely a play off of C.H.U.D., an old science fiction movie. It was supposedly Cannibalistic Humanoid Underground Dweller, but the movie reveals it stands for Chemical Hazard Urban Disposal, or something to that effect.--68.6.182.39 08:23, December 1, 2012 (UTC)
While it seems plausible, I'd suggest asking Ed on http://www.formspring.me/EdmundM.
If you get a confirmation, feel free to edit it in.

Just read it on formspring. Now feel free to add it to the article. How did you ever find that out?

- My mother is a huge horror movie fan, so I've seen tons of movies growing up. The second I saw the name "C.H.A.D." I figured that's what it was based on. Don't be surprised if you never saw it, it was very much a B-movie. Scared people to death at the time, completely laughable now.--68.6.182.39 05:44, December 5, 2012 (UTC)
- Sifted through the movie. C.H.U.D.s look kinda scary (If you leave out the rest of the movie that is). ^^
- Anyway, great catch!
